The new set stays here, the old set gets rehomed. I have a stubby screw driver, but not a wrench and ratchet. Seems like they'd be useful in tight spaces. You may want to watch after black friday but I got my set on clearance a couple of years ago.
Like the other guy said you could get a second one for yourself and one for the son and have change left over! I have an older set with just the ratchet and the sockets. And it gets used all of the time working on cars or around the house. The stubby ratchet is a life saver at times.
